How do I rent a car?

You can rent a car by simply clicking on the Reservation button, by calling or sending a WhatsApp message at +420778 778 779, or by email on [email protected] If you choose to reserve a car online, we will contact you to confirm your reservation.

What insurance is needed to rent a vehicle?

All our vehicles are fully risk insured, including a mandatory insurance excess established for each vehicle group according to its category. You are responsible just up to the amount of deposit. 

Do the website pictures match the real rental vehicles?

All the vehicles' pictures are real and owned by MaxCarTravel.

Which is the minimum/maximum age allowed to rent a vehicle?

The drivers’ allowed age for the rentals is a minimum of 25 years old. The young drivers (between 21 and 25 y.o.) are allowed just with additional higher deposit.

What kind of card can I use to pay the rent?

All Debit and credit cards are accepted but is mandatory to present a card of the same holder to pay the corresponding deposits at the moment of the vehicle pick up. We apply a payment block on the card, refundable. Debit / credit cards of third parties are not accepted, must belong to the owner of the rental contract.

Can I pay with AMEX?

Yes, we have an official agreement with AMEX. Don’t worry, we take care of the commission.

Where do I pick up the vehicle?

We do NOT have any pickup location, but we deliver cars anywhere per our agreement. It can be any city, airport or hotel. 

Do the cars have GPS maps?

All of our vehicles are brand new models and have GPS integrated.

Can I change the car after the reservation?

Yes. If you would like to change or cancel your reservation of a car after approving it, please contact us on +420778 778 779 or request it by contacts provided in the Contacts page.

What do I do if I don’t remember where I parked the vehicle?

All our vehicles have GPS trackers installed. We will help you to find it!

Contact us, send us the billing details and we will bill the services.

What should I do, if the car breaks down?

If your car breaks down/accident, please call us immediately at +420 778 778 779. Alternatively, you can call our Road Assistance at +420 241 170 000

What deposits do I have to authorize on my credit card?

It is mandatory to deposit the insurance franchise and security deposit. This amount is blocked on your card and is 100% refundable at the end of the rental.

Cancellation policy

0-3 days before of rental start - 100% penalty of total amount.

4-7 days before of rental start - 60% penalty of total amount.

8-14 days before of rental start - 40% penalty of total amount.

14-30 days before of rental start - 30% penalty of total amount.
